Da Vinci was the ultimate Renaissance man. His accomplishments as a scientist, master painter, sculptor,
mathmatician, philosopher, astronomer, inventor, anatomist, geologist and engineer dwarfed all his
contemporaries.
His genius was recognized beyond his own lifetime in the sixteenth century, his work inspiring
other inventors and even members of Starfleet in the Twenty-Fourth century. The incarnation of Da Vinci in the
Steam Factory is in fact a hologram created by Captain Kathryn Janeway aboard the USS Voyager.
