Lusiphur Malache
Poison Elves
by Drew Hayes

Lusiphur Poison Elves is definately not your typical comic book fantasy story; set in Amrahly'nn, a place populated with trolls, elves, humans and demons, where technology and magic are equally at home, it centers around a certain raven haired rogue who seems to have a little trouble keeping his life together.

Lusiphur (yes, it's pronounced like the devil's other name) Amerellis Malache is manic- depressive elf with an attitude and the combat skills to back it up. He has cheated fate (and death) time and again. Just when he thinks that his luck might change, it doesn't. Lusiphur always seems to be in the right place at the wrong time, whether it’s fighting a dimension hopping assassin (the E'jja known as Widowmaker) or facing a crowd of angry soldiers and police out to skin him alive.

Trained in the arts of the assassin, Lusiphur wields not only numerous deadly daggers and a magic gun that never runs out of bullets, but a magical elfin sword with the name of "Cinlach" which he acquired in a deal with a djinni, a deal which also garnered him super elfin speed, which, of course, makes him even more dangerous. He has a way about him that charms and occasionally disgusts those around him, yet deep down he’s not a bad guy.

A thief, an assassin formerly employed by the Assassin's Guild, Lusiphur follows his own set of rules, a loner who survived growing up alone on some very mean streets, a drifter who has a serious problem dealing with authority. He has little interest in monetary gain, as long as he’s got enough money for a room at the inn and a couple bottles of beer he’s content. He can be manipulative, orchestrating events from behind the scenes, then moving on before anyone becomes aware of his involvement. And yet there is more to him than this. He's a survivor. He'll survive whatever fate throws his way and whoever (or whatever) gets in his way, kick the crap out of anything that moves and ask questions later.
