Taarna the Defender
Heavy Metal
An evil green sphere (called the Loch-Nar) makes its way to a civilization of peaceful nomads. It manages to
mutate these nomads into deadly and hostile warriors. They immediately begin attacking the neighboring
settlements, one of which is owed the protection of the Taarakian race, a race of noble warriors long
believed extinct. Taarna, the Taarakian defender, received their cry for help, but arrives too late. She
finds the citizens slaughtered needlessly, and is now honor bound to avenge them.
Taarna tracks down the barbarians and in a heated battled with their leader, kills him. Taarna also
destroys the Loch-Nar and in doing so, makes way for the next Taarakian to take her place.
